A Try-out Lesson at the Baker Piano Studio.
A try-out lesson is a full one-hour piano lesson, and it is a great way
for us to meet first-hand and for you to experience my teaching style.
A try-out lesson is first scheduled before agreeing to on-going lessons.
For those who are beginners, I will show you the best hand-position and posture at the keyboard, the music materials that are used, and how to begin reading music.
You will start playing the piano during the try-out lesson!
For students with prior experience, we will talk about your musical interests and goals. I will assess the level of your skill and provide you with a plan to take your technique and musicianship to the next level.
If you do not yet have an instrument to practice on, I will offer you practical advice about purchasing a piano or keyboard within the limits of your budget.
A try-out lesson is $50. My regular rates are found on the tuition page. Please contact me to set an appointment for a try-out lesson.
